About the writers
Louie has spent half a decade covering the intersection of financial risk and climate change, and founded one of the first dedicated newsletters on the area – Climate Risk Review — which was acquired by Manifest Climate in 2021. Before all that he was an editor for Risk.net, a leading B2B brand on financial risk management and regulation. He's based in New York City, where you'll often find him walking his French Bulldog, Gimli, and spending eye-watering sums on good coffee.
Tony has a long consulting and research career in the banking and insurance industries. He was formerly Managing Director and the global head of credit research for Moody's Analytics, a role that took him from his native Australia to the US and finally to the UK, where he lives today. He has been a prolific contributor of op-eds and research articles, publishing pieces in American Banker, Risk.net, Fortune among many others. Since 2018, he has been a monthly columnist for the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). He is currently writing a book on climate risk in banking for RiskBooks.
